Swet Studio®, of Boston's South End, offers Mindfulness classes in a floating Silk Hammock every Thursday at 12:15pm.
Swet Studio's® Guided Meditation class is a group experience where participants are individually suspended in a silk hammock, free from the worries and noise of the ground, and guided to a place of mindfulness. The class consist of 10 minutes of gentle stretching followed by 40 minutes of meditation, complete with blankets and floating silk.
The Swet Studio® Method incorporates a holistic, "Mind Body" approach to health and fitness. Through a variety of small group classes, ranging from aerial yoga, indoor rowing, and floating mediation in a silk hammock, the Swet Studio® Method utilizes the concept mindfulness as a key element of its Practice.
Swet Studio® trains the body and calms the mind.
