Please join Pearson and LearnLaunch on March 22nd for a panel discussion on building efficacy in learning technologies. During this session, we’ll discuss the first paper in the Pearson | SRI Series on Building Efficacy in Learning Technologies entitled Volume 1. Understand, Implement & Evaluate authored by Barbara Means and her team at SRI International. As part of Pearson’s commitment to efficacy, we’re pleased that Barbara -- a leader in evaluating the implementation and efficacy of technology-supported educational innovations -- has led the work on this series as well as being a partner to Pearson in the evaluation of the impact of our products.

In this session participants will:
Understand the importance of the context in which a given learning technology is implemented
Find out about the kinds of efficacy research and impact evaluation that are happening at Pearson
Debate the pros and cons of RCTs and other evaluation alternatives in evaluating the impact of learning technologies
Hear from the lead author, Barbara Means, of the Pearson | SRI Series on Building Efficacy in Learning Technologies
Find out about how to engage with Pearson on their efficacy work
