Nothing feels more like summer in the city than Concerts in the Courtyard at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston! On August 21, join us for a performance by Upstate 🎶
For Upstate, the last few years have been a time of profound exploration and self-discovery—their sound, their lineup, and even their name have all undergone a dramatic transformation. Challenging and thrilling at once, the sextet’s dazzling new album showcases both their remarkable growth and their adventurous blend of folk, R & B, jazz, gospel, and rock ‘n’ roll.
Tucked inside the MFA's Calderwood Courtyard, the annual Elaine and Jerome Rosenfeld Concerts in the Courtyard showcase a wide range of acts from Boston and around the world: bit.ly/2ZA6FoP
Courtyard seating is limited; low lawn chairs (3 feet or under when unfolded) and/or blankets are recommended. Tall chairs are not permitted. You may bring your own food and nonalcoholic beverages. All bags are subject to inspection by Museum staff.
Concertgoers are invited to bring a picnic and nonalcoholic beverages. Wine and locally brewed craft beers will be available for purchase, as well as concession snacks.
MFA members and their guests can choose to enjoy the concert under the stars from the patio of 465 Bar and Restaurant, the MFA’s newest restaurant, while enjoying signature cocktails and table service.
