Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is made up of 34 islands and peninsulas and is an urban oasis just minutes from Boston's city center. They are increasing their community outreach with free tickets to a Mattapan boat cruise on Monday, August 19th. Their overall mission is to create an opportunity for education, recreation, and restful solitude that's close to home.

Everyday Boston connects the city by sharing real stories to break the stereotype. Visit their pop up story shop, in which they will offer visitors the opportunity to share their life experiences based on a range of story prompts, and film them for social media for both your account and theirs!

Redshaydez performs at #MattapanLove with DJ Brandie Blaze. Red is a Boston-born lyricist, filmmaker, and mentor and has performed at A3C Festival & Conference, HubWeek 2018, BAMS Fest 2019, and is taking the college circuit by storm with her live shows and consistently empowering brand.
#MattapanLove is a series of community events sponsored by Boston Food and Forest Coalition, Farmer's Collaborative, Greater Mattapan Neighborhood Council and Ideal Mixer.
