Now you've learned the basics from knitting your first project, we're excited to show you the second of the two foundation stitches! Together with instructors from Knitly, we will learn how to make one of two cozy cowl projects depending on what tickles your fancy: the classic stockinette stitch cowl will let you take your knitting journey nice and easy, with only one new skill to learn; while the seed stitch cowl is a textural extravaganza that will teach you how to read your knitting and knit in the round!
Some prior experience is necessary, if you've knit our garter stitch cowl or any other simple project before, you are more than qualified! As always, a colorful yarn buffet with all the materials you need will be included - just bring yourselves, more crafty ambition, and a little something to sip on while we get our knit on!
Once you learn to purl, the world of all projects is your oyster - perhaps some matching mittens or a sweater next?
This is a byob sip event and attendees are welcome to shop if they wish - all attendees get 10% off any purchases made during the evening.
