EMERALD NECKLACE CONSERVANCY
Programming for Children and Families


Children ages 5-12 and their families are invited to join the Emerald Necklace Conservancy for a varied program of Nature, Art and Craft activities in the Emerald Necklace parks, held Sundays from 10:00am to Noon. Activities are free. Participants must register in advance by emailing Ellen Arnstein [email protected]

DRAWING AT SCARBORO POND
Learn to see and appreciate the art of Frederick Law Olmsted’s landscape design through a drawing experience at Scarboro Pond in Franklin Park. Children will learn what focuses their attention through contrasting light and shadows, verticals and horizontals and use those elements in their own landscape drawing. Supplies provided, drawings to keep.
Meet at Shattuck picnic grove near tennis courts at 10:00am.
