On Sunday nights, Southie hangout Telegraph Hill Kitchen & Bar is inviting you to parade your pipes at their new karaoke night. Whether you’re trying to “Feel Like a Woman” a la Shania Twain, convince listeners it’s fun to stay at the “YMCA,” or channeling your inner-Mariah to show-off your octaves, nothing is off limits when it comes to your four minutes of fame.
Hosted by DJ AJ Rose, opt to be a solo act (no autographs, please) or form your girl groups and boy bands to sing the Sunday anxiety away. Before taking the mic, soothe your vocal cords and wet your whistle with a Southie-themed libation: Sex on Carson Beach with Three Olives vodka, peach and cranberry; Who’s Cah We Takin’ with Old Forrester bourbon, triple sec and lemon choice; Southie 75 with Sipsmith gin, elderflower and pomegranate topped with prosecco; or the Spicy Mahg with habanero-infused Jose Cuervo, mango, lime and lemon.
