Screen printing is a great way to put your designs on t-shirts, tote bags, cards, posters, and more. But it can be a tricky skill to pick up on your own! Join us for a two-evening class, and we’ll take the mystery out of the process. Using the photo emulsion process and your design, we’ll prepare screens and print on a variety of surfaces. And we’ll do it all in a fun, relaxed environment.
By the end of this class, you’ll know how to coat a screen with emulsion, expose it, wash it out, and finally, print with it! You’ll experiment with printing on different surfaces and leave with a pile of cool, custom items that you created yourself. We will also provide a step-by-step guide to the skills we cover in class, so you can keep on printing on your own.
We will provide screens, emulsion, ink, scrap paper, and all equipment. Students will bring surfaces to print on: paper, cards, tote bags, t-shirts, etc.
This 2-session class runs both Monday and Wednesday, starting at 6:30PM.
