The big myth is that creativity is the province of individual genius. In fact, it’s a social process. And the true founts of creativity have always been cities. With diverse populations, dense social networks and public spaces where people can meet spontaneously and serendipitously, cities spark and catalyze new ideas. With infrastructure for finance, organization and trade, cities allow those ideas to be swiftly actualized.
What fosters creativity? More than anything else, it is the presence of other creative people. Our biggest creative breakthroughs come when people learn from, compete with and collaborate with others. Creativity in Boston is flourishing all around us in science and technology, arts and culture, in our rapidly revitalizing neighborhoods. Participate in the process and join a creative showcase in one of the city’s most public spaces: a T Station.
Guests are invited to sip cocktails and drink in various mediums of expression, participate as they desire and depart reassured that art is a critical component to Boston’s future.
DJ Entertainment w/ special appearance by violin sensation Rhett Price. Plus a live performance by LISA BELLO.
This is a 21+ event.
