Join us August 27th from 7:30 - 9:00 PM for a hula hoop yoga and fitness workshop!
Hula hoops are useful yoga props as visual and physical feedback references for alignment and balance. They can also be utilized in many postures to help the practitioner go deeper into a pose. In addition, "hooping" around the waist helps to tone the abdominals and obliques, learning to lift the hoop actively works the arms, and moving with the hoop makes for a fun cardiovascular workout!
This workshop will gracefully combine yoga and hoop dance for a fun, full body workout. Expect to learn the following:
- Tummy targeting exercises
- Entertaining ways to burn up to 500 calories per hour
- Ways to uniquely advance your yoga practice
- Fun fitness!
*NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Beginners and all levels welcome!
