Hike through 10 miles of solitude and quiet nature via carriage paths and trails that meander along the 600 acres of preserved forest, grasses, boulders, and swamp. Ferns dot the trails around the preserve, and we will walk under the blooming canopy that’s sure to accompany us on this June day. Prepare for 2.5 hours of activity and woodland creatures.
Gear:
Please wear sturdy footwear with ankle support; hiking boots are one example of this type of shoes. Bring one liter of water and a snack as well. Hat, sunglasses, socks, and bug spray is also recommended.
Qualifications
This hike is open to all levels, but you must be able to walk for 2.5 hours continuously if required.
This is a guided hike where funds are used to pay to maintain the ecology of the area while funding the staff that supports the nature you get to enjoy. Thanks for adventuring with us and preserving Massachusetts's lands.
