Let’s Make a Sandwich is an evening of two micro-operas by composers Rudolf Rojahn and Curtis K. Hughes. The librettos are freely adapted by the composers from the same source material, a 1950 short informational film called “Let’s Make a Sandwich.” Each opera will be presented twice, with separate stagings by two directors, Copeland Woodruff and Giselle Ty. There will be a brief intermission between each pair. The goal is to give the audience insight into the collaborative process in creating new opera.
Thurs.-Sat., Sept. 25, 26, & 27 at 8 p.m.
**Talk-back on Friday, Sept. 26 directly after the performance. Free with price of admission.
