This half-day program is perfect for the artist in your child. We will explore various interesting visual media techniques such as Japanese Paper Marbling, Watercolor with Breathing, Acrylic Line Art, pour art with Duckies and Glass Painting. This half-day program is designed for children (+10yrs).
Together, we will create:
- Suminagashi (Japanese Paper Marbling) Stationery Cards, Envelopes, Coasters and Prints
- Watercolor paintings - Spring foliage, Winter Blossom, cacti, poppy flowers or balloons
- Acrylic Line art - Use tape and create cool abstract patterns, learn color theory and do some fun paintings!
- Pour art - mix paint and take home 2 adorable painted rubber duckies
- Paint pint glass
Your tween will walk away feeling relaxed, confident and proud of what they're able to make themselves!
For the experienced artist, they will receive 1:1 attention and opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, designs and individual projects.
All Materials Included: Watercolor paint, brushes, marbling ink, water glasses, glass paint, pour paint, acrylic paint, rubber duckies, canvas, specialized watercolor paper and more!
Duration: The Visual Art Day will be hosted in 4hr sessions with breaks for snacks and stretching! Please choose the best fit time slot for your child
What to bring: We recommend packing a snack and beverage for your child to enjoy! There are other tasty options in the mall for your child to purchase.
