Does your child have a green thumb and love nature? This is the perfect program for them to get their hands dirty in the middle of Winter! This half-day program is designed for tweens (+10yrs) to learn and create:
- Succulent Terrarium - make a mini-habitat for a succulent plant and a mystery figurine and learn about dry vs. wet climates and how plants have evolved to adapt.
- Kokedama - wrap a plant root ball with moss to hang or display on the table.
- Fresh Floral Arranging - We will discuss color theory, the three 'er's, basic design and color principles as well as floral handling techniques to make a beautiful arrangement. Vase and flowers are included!
Your tween will walk away feeling relaxed, confident and proud of what they made themselves! They'll also learn about different plants, their care needs and how the environment impacts a plant's growth. Hosted by a trained florist and a Master Gardener, this program is sure to satisfy and educate at the same time!
All Materials Included: Your child will come home with a succulent terrarium, kokedama and a beautiful fresh flower arrangement
Duration: The Nature Lover's Program will be hosted in 4hr sessions with breaks in the middle for snacks and stretching! Please choose the best fit time slot for your child
