February School Vacation Break - 'A Little Bit of Everything' Program - Cambridge

Does your child have broad interests with a strong interest in making things? If so, our "a little bit of everything" program is the perfect fit! This half-day program is designed for tweens (+10yrs) to experience and create a variety of projects and techniques:

- Chunky Knit Square Pillow - We will use Chunky yarn to create a soft and huggable pillow!

- Paint and Plant - We will paint a pot using a variety of techniques, and then plant it with a succulent! We will also talk about dry vs. wet environments for plants.

- Pour Art with Bear - We will pour 1 mini bear keychain with liquid acrylic paint.

- Geometric Origami - We will make a cool origami ball that requires no glue or cutting!

Your child will walk away feeling relaxed, confident and proud of what they made themselves! The activities explored in this session may have similar techniques to other sessions, but the projects are different and interesting, so your child will be engaged! It's also a great opportunity to revisit some of their favorite activities from earlier in the week.

Any student who has already mastered the basics of a particular craft will have the opportunity to try out more advanced patterns and designs.

All Materials Included:  Yarn, pot, plant, bear, paint, origami paper and lots of expert instruction! Your child will come home with many models in beautiful patterns.

Duration: The "A Little Bit of Everything" Program will be hosted in 4hr sessions with breaks in the middle for snacks and stretching!  Please choose the best fit time slot for your child 

What to bring: We recommend packing a snack and beverage for your child to enjoy! There are other tasty options in the mall for your child to purchase as well.
