Dumpling Party

Chef Marco and Chef Patty will intermingle skill. sets with practical hands on tips, and tell quite a few personal stories on the way! As former restaurateurs and the founders of the Joyce Chen Dumpling Festival, they have made millions of dumplings and entertained hundreds of groups In the introduction or "Nosh"we'll explore Taiwan, through its street food culture, sampling a sampling of Marc and Patty's street food snacks. The skillset section covers roll stuff fold and cook The dumpling making part goes over 5 specific shapes, and 3 distinct stuffings: pork and ginger, pork soup dumplings, and vegan. Each round has a break for stuffing the students, too! The competition is fierce, and there will be awards and trivia prizes throughout the event. If you happen to be the first to mention a "trigger word" in the story section, you will win a coveted "Make Way for Dumplings" tee shirt! Finally, the closing ceremony, where we encourage students to take home left-overs (if there are any!) Other things to note If you have gluten sensitivity, we do not offer gluten free options, at this time. Currently we offer the class with pork filling and vegetarian filling. Custom fillings are possible for lg groups. If you would like to bring a bottle of wine or some beer, it is BYO. If requested, the Host can accommodate the dietary needs for vegetarians. You must let the Host know before the experience if you’d like an accommodation.
