A monthly event at Trident Booksellers & Cafe in partnership with Drag Queen Story Hour: Boston! Join us in our children's section every third Saturday from 11am to 12pm.


Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.


Come curl up in our children's section and grab brunch while you're here!


*Note: This event takes place in our children's section on the second floor, also accessible by elevator. Full cafe service will not take place in the event space, but families are encouraged to eat brunch in our cafe either before or after the story time!*
