On Monday, January 2nd, The Sinclair in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA will become the new home of Downbeat Mondays featuring Matthew Stubbs & The Antiguas. Downbeat Mondays is a weekly residency of live psych garage twang from the Antiguas, accompanied by psychedelic visual projections. After a successful start one year ago at the Plough & Stars, the night has grown into one of the most popular and unique nights of music in the Boston/Cambridge area. The new space will allow bigger projections, more space to view from and dance, and an expanded cocktail list.


In their short time, Matthew Stubbs & The Antiguas have been nominated for a 2016 Boston Music Award, and have attracted a loyal following of music lovers spanning across genres and demographics. The Downbeat Mondays series will launch with an Industry New Year’s bash January 2nd, and continues every Monday night from 10pm-1am in the downstairs lounge of The Sinclair. Free, 21+.
