Just in time for summer love.. we’re back for another installation of DateMyFriend.ppt, a fun, life event where locals pitch their single friends to the crowd!
Pitches are brief, entertaining powerpoint presentations in the style of a startup pitch deck. Each pitch will be followed by an audience Q&A.

Q. What's the event format?
A. Each person will have ~3 minutes to pitch their single friend, who will join them on stage. After the pitch, the single friend has ~2 minutes to participate in an audience Q&A. If a pitch catches your eye, ask a question!
Q: How do I pitch my friend?
A: Apply to pitch your friend at bit.ly/datemyfriend by May 7. You will be notified shortly after if your pitch is accepted.
Q: I applied to pitch. Does this mean I’m pitching?
A: Not quite— due to time restraints, we can only select a limited number of pitches for this event. We will be in touch shortly after the submission deadline of May 7 if you are accepted to pitch.
Q: I applied to pitch. Should I still buy a ticket?
A: To guarantee entry to this event, you should purchase your ticket. If you are eventually accepted to pitch, we will refund your ticket!
Q. Can I just walk up and pitch the day of?
A. No walk-on pitches will be allowed. Please use the form to apply to pitch.
Q: Can I pitch myself?
A: Sorry, pitch a friend or have a friend pitch you!
Q: Is this event LGBTQ+ friendly?
A: Yes! We welcome and encourage pitches about people of any sexual orientation, and ensure that the final lineup will not solely consist of heterosexual pitches.
Q: Who will be accepted to pitch?
A: We will be selecting a fun, diverse lineup spanning age, background, and hobbies!
Q: How can I attend to watch the pitches?

Q: How many tickets are being sold?
A: Due to capacity limits, we are selling 200 tickets. If you purchased a ticket and can no longer attend, please request a refund so we can open up your spot!
Q: Do I have to purchase a ticket if I am pitching or being pitched?
A: No, if you are in the lineup either pitching a friend or being pitched, then you will not need a ticket. If you purchased a ticket prior to being notified of your spot in the lineup, we will refund the cost of your ticket!
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: If you can no longer make the event, please request a refund on Eventbrite so that we can open up your spot to others! If you need assistance doing so, please email us at [email protected] with your order number.
Q: Is this only for people looking for monogamous relationships?
A: This event is open to anyone who self-identifies as looking for a partner or a date, not just those who are looking for a monogamous relationship.
