On Thursday, August 15 Chopps American Bar and Grill welcomes amateur cornhole players and spectators for special Cornhole for a Cause event to benefit the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center. The outdoor terrace at Chopps American Bar and Grill will welcome duos for a friendly cornhole tournament. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction while catching the cornhole action.
Guests can mix and mingle with notable locals, including actor and comedian Lenny Clarke, former New England Patriot linemen Max Lane, Red Sox alumni Steve Lyons, and more.
Cheer on your favorite cornhole players while tasting brews from local breweries including Ipswich Ale Brewing, Lord Hobo, Night Shift Brewing, White Lion Brewing and Stormalong Cider. Keel Vodka will also be onsite crafting special cocktails. Guests can also enjoy light bites from Chopps’ Executive Chef Steve Zimei, gelato from Natick-based Ice Haus, and tunes from Boston-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Kali Stoddard-Imari.
The proceeds from the silent auction and raffles will go to MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center. Cornhole matches will begin at 5:00PM and the finalists will compete at 7:00PM. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite, for a suggested donation of $15, and teams of two can sign up for $50 per team by contacting [email protected].
