About the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library @ Boston HUBweek
To support independent music producers around the world, Converse created the Rubber Tracks Sample Library - a growing, royalty-free online library of over 20,000 one shots, loops, and stems recorded at Rubber Tracks studios by some of the top musicians in the world. The library provides a unique resource for all musicians at no cost. Creators are free to explore, download, experiment, and create using library samples and are empowered to utilize the resulting works in unlimited ways.
Converse will host several exciting events during HUBweek at the new Converse Rubber Tracks studio facilities in Boston, centered around both the technology and content of the Rubber Tracks Sample Library. In addition to the Sample Creation Days, events also include:
• A full-day HackAthon/JamAthon in which developers will build new technology applications which utilize the Rubber Tracks Sample Library API at Converse WHQ, At the same time musicians will rotate through the Rubber Tracks Studio to create a new collaborative jam which will later be produced into a final mix by producer Obey City.
• A two night Producer Workshop led by music producer Obey City centered around sampling and utilizing the new Rubber Tracks Sample Library. Hosted at Converse’ WHQ.
This event is hosted by Converse HQ as part of #HUBWeek.
