Feminist Fiber Art and Boston Hassle are coming together to present a Community Art Show and Craft Fair to kick off the new year! We don't know what to expect in 2017 but we do know that we need to come together and support one another.
There will be a few pieces of fiber art on display from Feminist Fiber Art's collection, and pins, patches, stickers, and jewelry for sale from other feminist artists they represent. Boston Hassle will be displaying work by some of the artists that have created flyers for their shows!
The theme of this exhibit is community- FFA and Boston Hassle both strive to help build community within the Greater Boston area. FFA is an international collective of fiber artists and feminists that hosts shows, exhibits, craft fairs, and craft nights. Boston Hassle is a local volunteer-run music and arts nonprofit organization that aims to foster the independent music, art, and film community through meetings, events and publications.
Free, all-ages event open to the public! Donations to the space would be appreciated though!
