The worst thing you can do when you can’t fall asleep is lie in bed and attempt to force yourself to sleep. But you can’t do anything that’s stimulating or in violation of the basic rules of sleep hygiene.

Indulge in a low-impact hobby: Swet Studio®, of Boston's South End, offers Mindfulness Restore classes in a floating Silk Hammock to HELP with sleep.


Swet Studio's® Guided Meditation and Restore class is a group experience where participants are individually suspended in a silk hammock, free from the worries and noise of the ground, and guided to a place of mindfulness. The class consists of gentle stretching followed by guided meditation, complete with blankets and floating silk.


The Swet Studio® Method incorporates a holistic, "Mind Body" approach to health and fitness. Through a variety of small group classes, ranging from aerial yoga, indoor rowing, and floating mediation in a silk hammock, the Swet Studio® Method utilizes the concept of mindfulness as a key element of its Practice.
