Break the Chains is a semi-monthly all-ages, all-gender, radical dance party featuring nationally touring queer & trans artists.


This month featuring headliner: BONFIRE MADIGAN SHIVE


Visionary cellist, composer, singer, and activist. Original riot-grrrl legend as seen in the iconic queer film "But I'm a Cheerleader," with albums out on Kill Rock Stars and K Records. Frequent collaborater with the likes of Sleater-Kinney, Elliot Smith, Kimya Dawson, and Jolie Holland. Co-founder of the Icarus Project radical mental health network, and so much more.
