On Valentine’s Day, Fort Point’s beer paradise City Tap House will celebrate their love for craft breweries as they welcome New Belgium Brewing Company to Boston. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, New Belgium was opened in 1991 by Jeff Lebesch and Kim Jordan and is the fourth-largest craft brewery and eighth-largest overall brewery in the United States.


As part of their expansion to Massachusetts, City Tap House will team up with New Belgium to host a tap takeover featuring their core, seasonal and most sought after rarities. Representatives from New Belgium will be on hand to talk about the pours including:


Fat Tire
New Belgium’s flagship amber ale


Citradelic
a brilliant tangerine IPA


Voodoo Ranger IPA
a newly released Golden IPA with tropical hop aromas


Voodoo Ranger Hop 8 Pale
a new super balanced hopped up pale, balancing malty backbone and fruity hops


Tart Lychee
a wood aged sour, part of the Lips of Faith series


Tranatalantic Kriek
a collaboration with Belgium’s Brouwerij Boon, a world class blended lambic which also is part of the Lips of Faith Series


Love Oscar Apple
single barrel, unblended sour aged in Leopold Bros. Apple Brandy barrels
