Eat, Drink and Be Irie at the city’s hottest festival of the summer, Boston JerkFest™ Celebrating all things spicy and hot, this outdoor/indoor, family-friendly, Caribbean-style foodie festival, features local Jamaican jerk spiced food and entertainment for the whole family. Boston JerkFest will once again take place on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Benjamin Franklin Institute, in the South End, Boston, and offers two sessions: 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm.
Due to the popularity of this event, we have moved the Rum & Brew Tasting @ Boston JerkFest to Friday night, June 26, 2015 6pm-9:30pm so that festival goers will have two days of spicy fun in the sun. View the 2014 Boston JerkFest video for a taste of what to expect this year.
Rum & Brew Tasting @ Boston JerkFest- Friday, June 26, 2015, 6pm-9:30pm
The Rum & Brew Tasting will be held, Friday, June 26, 2015, 6pm-9:30pm for 21+ year old festival attendees. It will feature live music and unlimited tastings of rum, craft beer, wine, mead, hard cider and a variety of Caribbean themed libations. Jerk hot food bites will be for sale and spicy snack samples will be offered.The Rum & Brew Tasting will include Cocktail Demos and a Caribbean Cocktail Throwdown with some of Boston’s hottest Mixologists.

On Saturday, the spicy festivities continue as top local Caribbean restaurants, including Jamaica Mi Hungry, Stir It Up Cuisine, Singh’s Roti Shop, and more, line up to sell their jerk-inspired creations. Boston JerkFest food festival will feature Jerk-style Chef Demos and a Seafood Throwdown, sponsored by Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance (NAMA). The Spice Lane offers unique spiced and tropical specialty foods The festival is a family-friendly event and features children’s activities. There are two live music stages featuring 8-10 local bands.
