It only takes seeing one Barnstar! performance to witness how hard the band works to justify the exclamatory punctuation that is an integral part of its name. Using the familiar tools of the bluegrass genre—fiddle, banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, and upright bass—Barnstar! forges a sound that both acknowledges and refuses to be constrained by tradition.
They put on a rousing show for a sell-out crowd at the museum a couple years ago, and we are excited to have them back several months in advance of the release of their upcoming third album.
