Join Mass Farmers Markets for the 2nd Annual Farm to Glass, Mixology Throwdown as we cheer on some of Greater Boston’s best bartenders and celebrate our state’s local farms, artisans, and talents in support of Mass Farmers Markets’ Boston Copley Square farmers market.
The Throwdown is on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the W Boston. Guests will sample 10 cocktails featuring local farm fresh ingredients, voting for their two favorite drinks. The three top bartenders will then compete head to head in the mystery CSA challenge – creating a cocktail from CSA ingredients given to them for the title of Mixology Throwdown Champ. To add more to the challenge, three guests will be picked as the bartenders’ bar backs for the competition. The event will feature Boston’s own DJ Deja, spinning today’s biggest hits in her signature creative style. Delicious small bites will be passed too!
