Hi, my name is Sammie!

I’m a full-time Social Worker and full-time cat mom based in Boston. I founded Stitches by Sammie after I began connecting with the the art and small business community online during covid and immediately felt at home.

Creating is so important to me. Not only do I get to create positive art for customers to enjoy, creating together with my mom and grandma helped us all through a personal time of grief in our family. 

Art, especially embroidery, continues to be a stable aspect of my life as I grow, change, struggle, grieve, and accept my otherwise hectic life. 

I hope my creations can bring a little bright spot to your day, just as it has done for me.
