About This Event:
ReferralMob and General Assembly are joining forces for an epic night with some of Boston's most interesting and inspiring young leaders that are making a name for themselves in the tech scene.
Why Are We Doing This?
In 2016, Business Insider ranked Boston the 6th Most High-Tech City in the World, citing that "big-name companies like Facebook and Amazon have set up R&D offices in Boston to pull from this growing pool of talent". We want to take a night to celebrate some of the talented, ambitious people that are making Boston a hub for tech and innovation.
Each 'young leader' will share their journey so far, what they're currently working on, and insights on the Boston community.
Leadership is not management - anyone can be a leader!
Some characteristics that we think define a leader:
-Someone who listens, inspires and empowers (empowers being the key word).
-Someone who has the ability to help people achieve things they don’t think that they can achieve.
-Someone who has the ability to see a problem and be the solution.
-Someone that manages up and is creating change within their organization.
