About Bottom Line
Bottom Line helps low-income and first-generation students get in to college and graduate by providing one-on-one guidance and support over the long-term. Since 1997, 74% of their college students have graduated within 6 years. This year, Bottom Line will be providing personalized support to over 3,400 students across Massachusetts.
Jason Yee Instructor Bio
I came to postural yoga, like many others, through an injury. After experiencing many physical benefits, I started noticing subtler ones to the mind and spirit that came from addressing the body. My aim in leading a session of postural yoga is to catalyze this process for anyone that might benefit from it. I try to incorporate the entire body in each session instead of focusing on one area. I try to keep everyone moving together as a class progresses, but discourage being in lock-step. I want people to have a chance to address what’s going on in their own bodies and minds at the time. I emphasize attention to breath. I occasionally tell stories. I like delivering lots of options within a pose. I teach a ‘slow flow’ that tries to build a rhythm through movement and breath, but that also takes advantage of extended pauses.
