For the fourth year in a row, Bostonians can take on a Swashbuckler role at the "Walk the Plank" event at Pier 6 in the Charlestown Navy Yard. Fundraising efforts are underway for the competition to benefit the World Ocean School, a nonprofit organization that empowers students of diverse backgrounds to reach their full potential as responsible.


On Wednesday, June 26th, 2019, the top ten contributors will take the plunge into Boston Harbor from the plank of the Roseway. With real-time polling stats to keep participants on their toes, the final ten will be announced as festivities begin the day of. Spectators are invited to the waterfront party at Pier 6 starting at 4:30 pm. Guests can listen to live music from Mama's Black Sheep, play games, enjoy tasty bites prepared by the restaurant and cheer on the plank walkers at 6:30 pm.
