A Celtic Salon
Our dear William Butler Yeats married Georgie Yeats on October 20, 1917 in a quiet courthouse ceremony. But who wants quiet, when you can throw a big party?
You are cordially invited to join us for a salon reception extravaganza at the home of WB Yeats’ dear friend Lady Gregory on October 20, 2017.
Come party with poets, actors, freedom fighters, playwrights, spiritualists, musicians, artists, literati and intelligentsia from the best Dublin and London circles… Some of our cherished friends will be in attendance, like Ezra Pound, James Joyce, Olivia Shakespear and Aleister Crowley … In a grand Irish cultural awakening! There will be poetry readings, theater, and whiskey. We’ll listen to the best live Irish tunes, dance, raise ghosts, sing songs, and have a wild time.
You may be asked to portray a character.
You may be given a mission.
Dress Code: Formal Attire, as close to 1917 Dublin as you can muster
Tickets will include drinks, nibbles & bites, and live music & performances.
