Yaoi!!! on Fire is an original two-act fire-spinning play inspired by the hit anime Yuri!!! on Ice.


Yuri!!! on Ice fans will enjoy a completely new story with the spirit (and subtext) of the anime, and that all will enjoy the amazing fire spinning acts! Yaoi Longfellow, a street performer from Boston, gets recruited into the world of competitive fire spinning by a five-time national champion from Texas, Victoria Jasso. As Victoria coaches Yaoi, the two form a powerful bond. Yaoi must learn to have confidence in herself to compete against five other of the nation’s top spinners at the USA Fire Spinning Grand Prix!


Due to popular demand, Yaoi!!! on Fire is back for an encore run. The show will be playing Friday, Sep 22 @ 8pm and Saturday, Sep 23 @ 9pm at the Stata Amphitheater at MIT (32 Vassar St, Cambridge MA). The run time will be roughly two hours with a fifteen minute intermission. The show is free, and seating will be general admission (there are no tickets or reservations). Because this show is outdoors, please dress accordingly. If a show is canceled due to weather, we will post on our Facebook event page by 6pm the day of the performance.
