The Massachusetts Orchid Society (MOS) is pleased to announce the “World of Orchids: ASIA” show and sale, Friday, November 8 to Sunday, November 10, at the Sons of Italy Hall at 117 Swanton St. in Winchester. Show times will run 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
Asia, a continent of adventure, intrigue, and beauty, is the native habitat of thousands of diverse and captivating orchid species. Hosted by the Massachusetts Orchid Society, the annual show and sale will feature over 20 displays of Asian orchids from national vendors, New England orchid societies and private collectors. Come enjoy the sights and scents of these exotic flowers.
The show will feature something for every level of enthusiast, from beginner to advanced, including hourly tours of the displays, plant raffles, vendors of specialty orchids and growing supplies, and orchid art. The show is $10 per person, with MOS members and children under ten, free. (Ask about membership at the show!) All proceeds help fund MOS, a non-profit organization.
