Beginner or experienced turners, will learn to take wood from fallen trees and "turn" it into 2 - 3 bowls. Beginners will receive basic instruction on safety, lathe operation, and carving techniques. All wood, tools, and safety equipment will be provided. Experienced turners are welcome to bring their own tools and learn advanced techniques to carve faster, smoother, and create more unusual shapes. You will receive lots of 1 on 1 instructions geared to your specific experience and skill level. Most of all, you'll have fun making something with your own hands.
