Wine Riot presented by Delta Amex Perks, returns to Boston bringing its intimidation-free wine tasting experience back for the 10th year. The event started in Boston in 2008 and is comprised of educational, interactive elements geared toward expanding the palate and mind. The 2018 event features more than 100 wines from wineries like Riboli Family Wines, Finca Las Moras, Beaujolais Villages and Prestige Beverage Group. The wines are highlighted in three sessions of interactive “Wine 101” tasting experiences and 20-minute “Crash Courses,” hosted by local sommeliers and Wine Riot host and award-winning lifestyle journalist Jason Tesauro. Food pairings will be provided by Boston-area chefs. Other entertainment elements include a photo booth, The Bubble Bar, a tattoo station and an opportunity to “decorate your own” wine glass. This year, Hennessy is hosting a special hour-long “Crash Course” seminar on the rich world of cognac and how to master the art of cocktails. As part of this exclusive, hands-on master class, guests will be guided through tastings of Hennessy’s most revered blends including and Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège and Hennessy X.O Cognac and will learn how to make classic cocktails with the world’s finest cognac.
