The CardioVascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and the Longwood Grille & Bar will host the fifth annual Red Wine & Dark Chocolate tasting event on Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Longwood Grille & Bar, 342 Longwood Avenue, Boston. The event is open to the public and will feature three gourmet, heart-healthy, courses of chocolate-infused food paired with fine red wines, as well as “Songs from the Heart” performed by Lindon Beckford, BIDMC’s talented singing patient transporter. Tickets cost $40 each, and all proceeds will benefit the BIDMC Boston Heart Walk team, which raises funds to help the American Heart Association fight cardiovascular disease.
