Every day we interact with numerous urban plants and animals - sometimes those organisms directly impact us and sometimes they impact the health of the urban ecosystems without our knowledge. As we interact with urban wildlife it is important to understand how our actions may effect them, and how we can peacefully coexist with organisms that may be considered pests.

This program will look at ways that we can maximize positive experiences and interactions within an urban ecosystem. Topics may include alternatives to pesticides and herbicides, natural animal and plant die-offs, and native landscaping and planting.

Please Note:

Mass Audubon's refund policy:

Withdrawal 7 days or more before program is a full refund.

Withdrawal 72 hours and up to 7 days before program is a full credit.

Withdrawal less than 72 hours before program is a forfeiture of registration fee.

Registration is required. Register here: Wildlife in the City: Nature Belongs Here Too (massaudubon.org)
