White Water Rafting & Camp

Join me for a weekend of white water rafting and camping at one of Maine's Finest (Lake Moxie). The plan is to arrive on Friday (August 27), then wake up early on Saturday to hop on a kayak or canoe and witness a magical sunrise from the lake (those that will be leaving can pack up) followed by our white water rafting excursion on the Kennebec River. After rafting, we will head back to the campground to eat a delicious lunch (steak, chicken, and veggie options available) and call it a day. If you wish to extend your stay, we can try to sneak a hike up to Moxie Falls which is a short distance from the campsite, we might even see a moose! Be sure to bring your cameras, this place is picturesque!

Costs:

Rafting: $121.68 per person (includes: Life vest, helmet, paddle, and lunch)

Lodging:

Option 1: $41.60 per person, for 2 days (if you bring your own equipment). We can also share tents.

Option 2: Platform Tent (each has double bunk beds)

2-3 PERSON TENT $93.60 per person for 2 days

4-8 PERSON TENT $41.60 per person for 2 days

What to bring:

Synthetic clothes (no cotton) to use the day of rafting and shoes that can get wet and not fall out and something dry to change into after the excursion. If the weather is too chilly, they can rent out wetsuits.

Sun protection.

Sleeping bag

Towel

Bathing suit

Snacks and food for the days you will be camping.

Activity Cancellation Policy (Applies To Kennebec River Rafting Trips)

For cancellations more than 30 days in advance of your activity date, we retain a $25 per person cancellation fee refund the rest. 30 days or less in advance, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip.

Weather:

Trips run regardless of the weather. In the event of a major weather event, we would make the decision to cancel on the morning of the trip, if we cancel we refund the trip in full. Otherwise, trips are rain or shine.
