The White Lightning Ball has roared through the best of the 1920’s, but now we turn to a new decade. The depression has taken its toll, and the 1930’s brought much change. Liquor may soon be legal again, and underground organizations are "betting" on luxury gambling casinos to be a law-abiding but lucrative future. This year’s White Lightning Ball brings back the “casino” room with new and improved games and prizes!
In the main hall we have an amazing hot jazz band called the “Marsh Hoppers” ready to get you on the dance floor! Between band sets there will be a selection of period entertainment acts. Hors d’oeuvres are included with admission and there's a cash bar featuring a themed cocktail provided by Smoky Quartz Distillery of Seabrook, NH. Plus, come early to shop a selection of premier vintage vendors and then take part in the FREE swing/Charleston dance lesson provided by Boston Lindy Hop!
Our host, WGBH radio/TV personality Edgar B. Herwick III will entertain and guide us through the evening. Definitely don’t miss out on this exciting night!
