The White Lightning Ball is back Saturday, March 12, 2016 for another exciting evening of 1920’s fun! The 1888 Larz Anderson “Carriage House” will be transformed into a bootlegger’s hideaway complete with details like a genuine prohibition era moonshine still! This year’s theme will be influenced by the vintage motorcycles of the museum’s “Beauty of the Beast” display. With admission you will have full access to the museum’s collection of antique vehicles—“America’s Oldest Car Collection”. Highlighting the night will be the talented Wolverine Jazz Band! There is plenty of room for dancing and a free Swing/Charleston dance lesson is included in admission from Boston Lindy Hop Studios!

But that’s only half the fun!!! Sponsoring the evening’s libations will be the Privateer Rum Company of Ipswich! Each admission includes one free cocktail and hors d’oeuvres! As part of the 1920’s theme, magician/juggler Robert Clarke will be entertaining guests with vaudeville style acts! Plus, come early to shop at vendors Salmagundi and Emily’s Vintage Visions which specialize in vintage and vintage inspired goods! Admission is $45 and can be purchased at the link below. This event has sold out in advance each year, but if there are any extra tickets they will be sold at the door for $55. Vintage dress encouraged but not required. This is a 21+ event.
