Come to Saloon in Davis Square for Whiskey 101: Bourbon, Rye, Irish & Scotch. For the whiskey rookie and lovers alike, learn the intricacies of each specific type of whiskey
Throughout the summer, once a month whiskey lovers can gather and learn about a different, spectacular facet of the age-old beverage. Beverage Director and Resident Malt Man Manny Gonzales will guide attendees through tasting four different whiskies, with each class focusing on a different group of the classic libation.
Future whiskey events include:
- Tuesday, June 17th: Whiskey Blending Class
Learn the craft of whiskey blends, with a focus on scotch whiskey
- Tuesday, July 15th: Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey Throw Down
Take a trip down south with a class exclusively on bourbons and Tennessee whiskeys
- Tuesday, August 19th: Blind Tasting
Test your knowledge and taste buds with an end of summer, blind whiskey tasting.
