So just what is Cinco de Mayo celebrating?


Join WGBH at our studios Thursday, May 5, from 7pm to 9pm, and get immersed in the culture of Puebla, Mexico. Hear from esteemed, local professors, who'll give you deeper insight into what the day means for Mexico, and why America has latched on to such a culturally significant holiday.


You'll also enjoy delicious samples of authentic food and drink, while the music transports you south of the border.
