Walk to End Lupus Now is the Lupus Foundation of America's national signature fundraising and lupus awareness event. On Saturday, October 19th Walk to End Lupus Now will take place in Boston on the Boston Common at the Bandstand. Join us and nearly 1,000 participants as we walk and raise funds for those who are impacted by lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease with no known cause or cure.
The mission of the Lupus Foundation of America is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy. The Foundation is focused on achieving the following disease specific outcomes:
- reduce the time to diagnosis
- ensure people with lupus have an arsenal of safe and effective treatments
- expand direct services and increase access to treatment
