Walk/Hike Nasketucket Bay State Reservation

With nearly 400 acres of coastal forests set on some of Buzzards Bay’s clearest, healthiest waters, Nasketucket Bay State Reservation is a treasure for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. We will be taking a low-key walk through meadows and woodlands, and salt marshes to the rocky shores of Nasketucket Bay.

Hike Details:
Difficulty: Easy
Elevation Gain: 50 ft.
Total Mileage: 2.5 miles
Total Time: Approx. 1.5 hours, depending on pace and amount of breaks.

What to Bring:
Sturdy shoes
Socks (preferably wool)
Mid-layer, which can be a shirt, fleece and softshell pant
Coat, hat, gloves, depending on the weather and how hot/cold you run.
Water and food

Optional, but Strongly Recommended:
Rain gear (top and bottom). These may or may not be required, depending on the weather forecast.
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Bug spray: please seriously consider this if there hasn't been a frost yet due to EEE.
