Walk Information


This will be the 4th annual Boston, MA Walk from Obesity!
All registrations include an official Walk from Obesity t-shirt. Please pick up your t-shirt at the Walk. Sizes available on a first come, first serve basis.
Children under the age of 12 are FREE, with a registered parent or guardian (See below).
This is a "set your own pace" event. Walk as much or as little as you want.
Registration and Fundraising


About the Walk from Obesity
Walk from ObesitySM is the only national walkathon that brings attention to the disease of obesity by raising awareness in communities all over the country. The Walk from ObesitySM also provides educational materials regarding obesity and the treatment options available.


All Walk from ObesitySM events are at a “set your own” pace, and are non-competitive. Participants are encouraged to walk or run as little or as much as they like.


Whether you are an individual struggling with obesity, have successfully treated your obesity, know someone who is struggling, or are interested in supporting the fight against obesity, we welcome you to join us as we Walk from ObesitySM.


The Walk from ObesitySM is also a fundraising event to support the ASMBS Foundation’s mission to raise funds for obesity research, education, and access to quality treatment. Participants are encouraged to fundraise by asking family, friends, and colleagues to support them by making a donation and attending the event.


Online Registration and Fundraising


Online registration is $25 and will be available until Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM EST. Please click "Register Now!" and follow the prompts to register online and save!


Those who register online will automatically receive their very own online fundraising page. Please utilize our online fundraising tools to help meet your fundraising goal and/or to invite family and friends to join you at the Walk.


We encourage all of our participants to be fundraisers and help us meet our event fundraising goal. Also, while raising money for a great cause, you can win some great prizes, receive achievement badges on your online page, and a plaque will be awarded to the top fundraising individual and top fundraising team at the Walk!
