Nominated for six Tony Awards, this often funny, sometimes serious, but always genuine production based on Studs Terkel’s 1974 best-selling book of interviews with American workers, has been updated for a the modern age, creating an experience impossible to forget.
Featuring new songs by HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with favorites by Stephen Schwartz (WICKED, GODSPELL), and such familiar works as James Taylor's Millworker and Brother Trucker, Working delivers a powerful contemporary score and a highly original look at the stories of 26 different people, offering something for anyone who has ever had a job, loved a job, quit a job, or simply “worked” for a living.
