This Friday, we welcome the head of the Berklee Electronica Club (BEC) to go behind the scenes with his process.
Jon Koh will explain some basic concepts of visual programming, such as RGBA values, and Jitter-specific concepts such as the Jitter Matrix. He'll also talk about how he's personally approached adding visuals to his music. It will give attendees an idea of where to begin. He will also demonstrate in detail a couple ways to get started using Jitter in particular to generate visuals in real time.
Jonathan Koh is a Singaporean electronic musician, guitarist, and performance systems and live sound engineer currently. He designs and operates laptop-based audiovisual rigs both for other artists and his own improvised live electronic music sets. His work with visuals is focused on designing generative and musically reactive systems for stage performance.
