Join us for a virtual version of our most popular class! Taught by Curio's founder Claire Cheney.


Delve into the enchanting world of spice blending! Claire will introduce you to Curio’s distinct flavor theory and the principles that we use to make the exquisite blends we’re known for. Claire will guide you through tasting different spices, teach you some spice techniques, and then help you make a spice blend right in your own kitchen. We’ll send you a shopping list of five spices prior to class so you can join in on this hands-on, sensory class in the comfort of your home.


Claire will teach you about flavor and aroma and how attention to details such as texture and color, or techniques like toasting, can make a blend sing. And, she'll share insider knowledge about layering flavor, sensory analysis, and training your palate.


Choose Virtual Class ticket for JUST THE CLASS or choose Virtual Class PLUS Spice Bundle to receive the spices you'll need to cook with us during class. The Bundle will be mailed a week before the class with free shipping.


Cook along or just watch and learn! If you want to smell, taste and/or cook along during this class, you will need the following spices: rose petals, cinnamon, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cardamom seeds, a small skillet, measuring spoons, a small mixing bowl, and a tool to grind your spices (such as a mortar and pestle or electric coffee grinder).
